      Week 51 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 23rd May 2021.

      Club Stats. 993 members collectively rode 50140 km in 1550 rides, climbing 293131 metres in 2327 hours!

      The number of members are up by 13 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more, with total distance, elevation gained and time spent on the saddle were all up.

      To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 181 km during the week!

      There were 4 who rode more than 100 a day!

      2 rode a double century. 32 riders rode at least a century!

      25 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 8 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

                      The monsoon and opening up of lockdowns ensured that long rides once again kicked started this week! Brevet season is back…

                      Top spot goes to Nishant Gupta from Maharashtra for the longest ride. He did a 308 km long ride! He was second last week.

                      Next up is Hitesh Kumar from Karnataka having done a 274 km long ride.

                      Third is Deerendra CR from Karnataka, who did a 273 km long ride.

                      The top 23 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

                      Fastest of the lot is Mayank Tripathi from Canada who averaged an incredible 37 kmph over the week! He was second fastest last week.

                      Second fastest for the week is Vikram Seth from Chandigarh whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.6 kmph.

                      Third is Pallav Sethi from Madhya Pradesh averaging 35.8 kmph over the week.

                      The Himalayas were nowhere to be seen this week!

                        Week 60 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 25th July 2021.

                        Club Stats. 1207 members collectively rode 76254 km in 2118 rides, climbing 419987 metres in 3824 hours!

                        The number of members are up by 26 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more or less the same. With total distance, elevation gained and time spent on the saddle were all constant.

                        To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 242 km during the week!

                        There were 3 who rode more than 100 a day!

                        7 rode a triple century, 14 rode at least a double century and 91 riders rode at least a century!

                        20 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 6 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

                        Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

                        Leaderboard: Overall

                        This leaderboard sees Nishant at the top! 3 riders averaged more than 100 km a day. The top remains unchanged.

                        Nishant Gupta from Maharashtra was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1802 km. He was top last three weeks.

                        In second place is FB Vaibhav from Delhi who rode 892 km in the week. He was third last week.

                        Third spot is taken by Utkarsh Verma from Uttar Pradesh. He rode 860 km. He is back at the front after long.

                        The women’s leaderboard has gotten more competitive. The ladies have upped their game!

                        Ishika Gupta from Delhi was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 386 km. She is 27th overall.

                        Next up is Simy Thomas from Kerala. Who rode an impressive 292 km. She is 62nd overall.

                        Third is Ketaki Agtey Sathe from Maharashtra who rode 277 km. She is 70th overall.
