Our video from the beautiful land of Uttarakhand…
Two of us from CyclingMonks.com went for a fortnight long cycle ride in Uttarakhand. We rode in both Garhwal and Kumaon.
The bicycle ride started in Dehradun, went up to Mussoorie, further up to Dhanolti, down to Tehri Reservoir, down and along the Alaknanda and up again to Kausani. From where we took a U-turn and headed up towards Ranikhet, through the thick forests of Corbett Park, climbing again to Lansdowne, before descending to Rishikesh and finally ending in Dehradun. Back from where we started…
This amazing route saw us get caught in a snow blizzard, rain, high mountains, verdant green valleys, thick forests and more.
